Maintenance Training

The most challenging part of a new (and even seasoned )canine team is maintaining the teams proficiency. At Tri-State Canine we help you with any concerns you may have by offering individual or group training for your department and we can travel to your location.

The maintenance training is like a mini-seminar. We can be available for 1-2 days at your location for a minimal cost and the host can invite other handlers to help differ the over all cost. The training includes all areas the K9 teams want cover (i.e. new techniques, problem solving, behavioral issues).  We have been around long enough to know teams have concerns and it's normal - that's what makes canine handling a challenge.

Since 1994, Tri-State Canine has provided monthly in-service training for canines used for patrol, tracking, article search, area and building search. Our detection area covers all canines used for cadaver, narcotics and explosives. We assist in bite work development covering good and bad grips and catching the dog the correct way verses the wrong way. We have many references that will justify the difference of the dog after our training and then it's up to the handler to keep up with what they have learned.

Everything we do is to make the canine stronger for working the streets and we stand behind our in-service training 100%.

If you would like to visit us for a day for some free training give us a call so we can schedule a date and time. For any additional information, call or e-mail us today.

We will also provide telephone information for our references, upon your request.          Good Luck
